Menstrual practices are still clouded by taboos and socio-cultural restrictions resulting in adolescent girls remaining ignorant of the scientific facts and hygienic health practices, which sometimes result into adverse health outcomes.In INDIA 88% of the 355 million menstruating women do not have access to sanitary napkins.India accounts for 27% of the world's cervical rare condition deaths caused due to poor menstrual hygiene.23% of girl students dropout of school when they begins menstruating.

Countless women drop out of work force during their menstruation.In India, puberty does not just mark the process of becoming a woman but it also acts as a source of humiliation and a threat to her health. For many Indian women, ignorance of menstrual health and personal hygiene results in daily frustration and constant depression.

The ultimate mission of this campaign is to support empowerment of girls in India by improving menstruation awareness amongst young girls and women. This collaborative campaign by Big FM aims at procuring sanitary napkins and distribute them to women for free of cost. For every 2 pads a donated by a donor, We will add one more to it to deliver 3 pads in total. The donated sanitary napkins would be delivered to beneficiaries in 52 cities, through partnered NGOs.
