Bring Christmas cheer to little kids at the Children's Hospital in Shillong

As Christmas is fast approaching, children especially are counting the days when they get a chance to rummage under the Christmas tree for presents , feel the warmth of a hug from loved ones and celebrate togetherness.

Sadly, there will be a few who will be spending Christmas in the hospital without the love and warmth of family and friends. Therefore , we at The Children's Hospital in Shillong want to celebrate the spirit of Christmas by doing something for our patients in the hospital on Christmas day to spread cheer, love and healing!

We get patients who seek treatment from all walks of life. Majority are children from low-income families with daily struggles and hardships. We at The Children’s Hospital, see beyond the health needs of our patients in order to help them heal. We go the extra mile to take care of patients emotional and welfare needs as well. As part of the Charity Program, the hospital has been supporting patients and their families by donating clothes, toys, coloring books, crayons, food etc. whenever there is a need through the kindness and support of so many people.

Being hospitalized in general is upsetting enough for both patient and family, imagine being unwell and alone especially on Christmas. Therefore, we want to spread a little Cheer to our patients by bringing Christmas to them, with your help and support.
