Project
Many of us have pets these days. Whether it’s our fuzzy meowing mates, man’s best friend, or a cow in the farms back home, we know how important they are to us. We care for them, buy them food, give them the medical attention they deserve. When they pass, it's like the death of a family member. But many animals out there face their fate without having anybody to care for them.
Thousands of stray animals die of hunger or road accidents. Cattle are abandoned once they stop producing anything or become handicapped. Animal abuse and negligence are on the rise. Whether it’s stray dogs, cats, cows, or cattle, it's becoming more and more common to dump animals or completely ignore their needs or requirements.
Just because they don’t have a voice, it doesn't mean they don’t exist. These creatures, hungry for love, kindness, need a little helping hand. An NGO(founded by Aditi Badam and Nidhi Mishra), solely with the mission of fostering, caring, and providing nourishment and medical care to animals, as well as educating people about animal welfare, has stood up. They’re on their way to give the necessary attention to as many street animals as they can.
The Posh foundation shelter abandoned animals, feed them, provide medicines, and more to sick animals, rehabilitate them. They also hold adoption drives for people keen on taking in these animals, as well as receive support from many volunteers who want to spend some time or provide love to these creatures. Their vision is to live in a world where humans respect and live in harmony with the animal kingdom.
But rehabilitation, shelter, and nutrition of these animals cost a lot of money. There's emergency expenses, transport, and much more, which needs to be taken care of. Funds are not enough as more and more animals are brought in every day. The Posh Foundation needs your help. Donate food, help nourish these poor animals back to health.
