Donate Urgently To Save 3YO Yukti From A Rare Disease

Yukti was born on September 23, 2020, in Jaipur. From the very first moment of her life, she has been in a battle most of us could never imagine. Diagnosed with Diamond Blackfan Anemia right after birth, her tiny body has struggled every day. This rare and life-threatening condition prevents her body from producing enough red blood cells, which means her body can’t get the oxygen it needs to grow and function properly.

"She hasn't even said her first word yet," says her mother, Jyoti, her voice breaking with emotion. "We watch other kids her age playing, and laughing. But Yukti…she can't even get out of bed some days. It’s heartbreaking."

The anemia is taking a toll on Yukti’s little body 

Daily blood transfusions have become her lifeline, but they are no longer enough. Her parents watch in despair as their daughter gets weaker with every passing day, unable to do the simplest things. Yukti will turn 4 this September but she hasn’t been able to grow like other kids. The condition has also caused heart defects and short stature, adding to the already overwhelming challenges she faces.

“Every morning, we pray for her strength,” Sabha Singh, her father says, tears filling his eyes. “But she’s getting weaker, and we’re running out of time. A bone marrow transplant is her only chance.”

Yukti’s father has been identified as the donor, but the costs of the transplant and post-operative care are beyond what the family can bear. 

"They said it will cost us 46 lakhs. We’re doing everything we can, but we can’t do this alone. We need help to save our little girl," Jyoti says with tears in her eyes. 

Yukti is fighting bravely, but she needs this transplant urgently to survive 

Sabha Singh once worked as a hotel manager, but ever since his daughter Yukti’s diagnosis, his life has completely changed. Unable to maintain a regular job, he now spends most of his time rushing her to the hospital for emergency treatments and ensuring she gets the regular transfusions she needs. 

“I have spent over 25 lakhs till now for Yukti’s treatment - all my savings have been exhausted yet my daughter isn’t getting any better. The only thing that can save her now is something that is beyond my means, please help me…”
