This 5-Year-Old Turns Blue Every Time She Cries, She Needs An Urgent Open-Heart Procedure To Live

At a time when the world was haunted by the constant threat of COVID-19, Mohammed Akmal was desperate to find a way to save his daughter, Sara’s life. With the country going into lockdown, Akmal lost his job at a general store in their hometown in UP, leaving him helpless and struggling to not only look after his family of four but also afford Sara’s life-saving procedure. 

“It all happened at the same time - we found out about Sara’s heart condition, the country went into lockdown and I lost my job. It was impossible for me to afford her procedure despite trying my best. It’s been over two years since, and no matter what I do, I’m always falling short. Sara’s condition is getting worse with every passing hour. Without urgent help, we could lose her.”
