Project
The Gyanada Foundation is an education non-profit founded in 2013. We work to create better opportunities for Indian girls from underprivileged backgrounds. We believe that better educational outcomes lead to better lives.
Educate:
One in three women in India are illiterate. Increasing female access to education has known positive impact on community health, social and economic outcomes too.
Empower:
Four out of five girls in India drop out of school before age 15. Each extra year of school gives women 20% additional income in adult life.
Extra Mile:
Beyond academics, the poorest of India's girls need opportunities and challenges which can expose them to the world. We develop co-curricular programmes which offer them just that.
Through this campaign, we wish to provide for laptops for the girls at our centre to impart technical education to them. Contribute your bit and help our girls master coding.
