Meet Golly. He was found with a huge deep wound on the back of his neck. He had no fur, and was terrified of all humans.
We have no idea what happened to him. After healing at Dharamsala Animal Rescue, he has slowly started to like humans. He gets cold frequently because his fur still has not fully grown in, and we are not sure it ever will. Most people think of India as being warm and humid. Well, for those of us up in the Himalayas, it can get really cold, even freezing overnight.
He loves to be wrapped in blankets and hide underneath them. He even seems to enjoy it if puppies cuddle up next to him or his old lady friend Jerry. The dogs at Dharamsala Animal Rescue, most of whom are recovering from car accidents, skin disease, and malnutrition, need extra loving care to make sure they can recover in these cold temperatures.
