Support these hearing impaired children by contributing basic school supplies

Ashray Akruti is a registered nonprofit Organisation working for hearing impaired children from underprivileged backgrounds. The organization strongly believes in the potentials of persons with disability and envisions a society where people with disability lead a life of dignity as equal citizens with equitable access to opportunities and services. 

Established in Hyderabad, Telangana in 1996, Ashray Akruti runs educational institutions with residential facilities for hearing impaired children. Ashray Akruti started with five children now caters to the educational needs of 350 children. Since our inception in 1996, more than 150 hearing-impaired children have been integrated into mainstream schools, colleges and Universities. Among them, many were skilled in our Multimedia and Animation Training Centre at Sri Nagar Colony. The organization also caters to the educational needs of the slum children by giving equal opportunities with the Hearing Impaired children.

Ashrau Akruti is empanelled with the National CSR hub of Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Ashray Akruti is the NGO member on the ethics committee of Gandhi Hospital, Secunderabad and the Indian Institute of Public Health, Hyderabad.

Apart from the objective of impacting the lives of hearing impaired children with education and employment, Ashray Akruti works with people at grass root level implementing interventions like free diagnostic facilities for new born and rehabilitation facilities for children with disabilities.
