Help Asha Jyothi Handicapped Welfare Society Feed These Underprivileged Children amid COVID-19!

The Corona outbreak is the worst pandemic to have infected mankind in a very long time. Not only has it spread like wildfire infecting people everywhere, but it has deprived thousands of their livelihoods. In any sector, there is a large presence of the labour workforce. This segment of the workforce accounts to about 190 million labourers, according to ILO. 

A nationwide lockdown has crippled more than a quarter of a million people from working. They can only survive when they work. On days that they work, they struggle to feed their children as they earn so little. Today, the Corona outbreak has destroyed their lives completely. The workers often have little or no access to formal education, their families can only survive through the grit and tough work they do. 

Today, these families and their children are suffering. They’re poor and they come from poor families. They need your help to survive this lockdown and to get through these tough times. Many of them have little or no food to eat. A grocery kit that you donate can help them get through by cooking food for their family. These grocery kits contain staples that are used across Indian households and can feed a family for up to a week. 

Asha Jyothi Handicapped Welfare Society is a registered Voluntary Organization started in the year 1998. The mission of Asha Jyothi is to provide diverse services for the development , education, medical, social and rehabilitation of the children with special needs.
