Assam has seen some of the worst days in the last few weeks. Incessant rains have left 25 districts in the state ravaged by floods. Over 141 people have been killed and 30 lakh lives have been impacted. The situation is grim and the sights from the streets of Assam are heartbreaking.
Homes have been submerged, people have lost everything they’ve worked so hard for, families are going hungry, and children are terrified. The lack of food and water has made the situation worse. The people of Assam are struggling and every minute that goes by without help is only putting their lives in more danger.
We Care Foundation Wants To Provide Timely Help To The People Of Assam
We Care Foundation has been instrumental in supporting the education of underprivileged kids. They believe that education and nutritious food are the fundamental rights of all human beings, and these children shouldn’t be deprived of either. The Foundation has also been actively helping people in need get groceries ever since the beginning of the pandemic.
Now amidst the devastating floods in Assam, they want to reach out to as many people as possible and help them stand on their own feet again. We Care Foundation has worked tirelessly so far, and now needs your support to continue its services.
