Support Voice of Slum To Give Underprivileged Children Nutritious Food & Educate Them

There are millions of children in India who are out of school. These children don't have the means to afford books or basic stationery, let alone go to a good school. Due to their financial situation, many of them are forced to work for meagre amounts. So at a time when they should be learning, growing and making friends, they are worried about surviving the next day.

Dev and Chandni, founders of Voice of Slum, have lived through the same pain when they were children. They know the difficulties and challenges these children face every single day and are determined to do everything in their power to give these kids a better life. 

They Believe That Every Child Deserves An Education

Voice of Slum is a non-profit, youth-driven organization that is working relentlessly to transform the lives of slum kids of Noida. They take care of their education from the pre-primary level until they graduate, and also work hard to give them good opportunities so that they can break the shackles of poverty and become self-reliant. They have made a remarkable impact on the lives of thousands of children living in Noida’s slums. So far, they have changed the lives of more than 15,000 children.

“I grew up in the slum, and so did Chandni. We’ve both lost a parent and had to struggle our way through life. We’ve seen so many children suffer just like that. We want to ensure that they have the chance of having a brighter future as they deserve. We want to lift them from the shackles of poverty. Every single child deserves a good education.” - Dev 

Every child deserves an education, access to equipment, stationery, and the basic essentials. This is integral to their growth, development, and the opportunities that will be made available to them. However, the parents of children from lower economic backgrounds are mostly daily wagers who earn a couple of thousands in a month - most of which goes towards ensuring the family is fed.

Voice of Slum now wants to help the families of street vendors and those living in the slums get grocery kits so that they can feed themselves and their children. We would like to provide them breakfast and also lunch for the children in slums. We would need your support in providing them.
