Tresna Foundation, an Ahmedabad-based nonprofit organisation, is committed to create a positive impact on people’s lives, especially in areas of education, health, and skill development.

Our organisation was founded by Rangoli Bakshi on Children’s Day, November 14, 2017. Tresna Foundation happens to be one of the few voluntary agencies in Gujarat that invest its sources in helping the vulnerable and juvenile in Observation homes, children’s homes, and orphanages run by the state government.

We work to provide better learning opportunities to underprivileged kids whose lives have taken a turn due to the loss of guardians or unemployment in the family and to those who hail from marginalized families in villages and urban areas by conducting garden classes and other educational activities.

Team Tresna organize awareness camps for girl students of Not only distributed sanitary napkins but also educated the young girls about menstrual hygiene. Period poverty is one of the many challenges girls face on an everyday basis. Several of them are deprived of even the most basic resources, and due to their lack of access and awareness, they’re left with nothing.

Despite making progress on many fronts, there continues to be an immense amount of stigma around girls and their menstrual health. In rural India, there are lakhs of women who have no access to period products or have no awareness about menstrual hygiene.

    How You Can Help
