Sundar Bharath Foundation identified 54 students studying in the government schools of Munirabad, Koppal Dist. Out of 54 students, at least 50% are intellectual, but these students are from underprivileged family backgrounds. The intention is that the bright students, who are bright, should be encouraged and that all the facilities should be made available so that the students can aim for their goals. Hence, after visiting the above residential schools, there are many seats available in the Morarji Desai, Moulana Azad, Kitturani Chennamma, Jawahar, and Navodaya residential schools. Hence, SBF is preparing these 54 students to face the competitive exams conducted by the above-mentioned schools. In January, SBF started evening coaching classes for these students. They have hired 4 teachers to teach the children and prepare them for the above exams. 54 students are attending the evening classes regularly. It is from 5 to 7 PM every day.  

Sundar Bharath Foundation inauguration was held on January 10, 2022, at Munirabad, Koppal Dist at 6 PM. The program began with a small prayer sung by the children. The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamps; later Mr. S.A. Rawoof, Managing Trustee of Sundar Bharath Foundation, highlighted the objectives of the SBF and said they were going to put more focus on children’s education. The guests applauded the initiative taken by the SBF Team, and they have agreed to support in their capacities the activities that will be undertaken by the SBF. Mr. Rahim Shaik, Secretary, Mr. Mallikarjun, Dy. Secretary, Need Base India, Mr. Balchandran, Panchayath President, Munirabad Mr. Salim Shaik, Diet, Education Dept, Mr. Srinivas, Head Master, P Lingayya School, Mrs. Savithri, Head Mistress, Govt. School, Mr. Anand Bandari, Proprietor Medical Store Mr. Athar Sab and Sadik Sab were the key guests who attended the program. It was a great evening, to see the children, parents, and a few local people also attend the program. 

On January 15, 2022, Sundar Bharath Foundation Trustees and their team visited the Need Base India organization in Bangalore to understand the various activities conducted for the development of underprivileged children there. They visited our center at Jalahalli Village, Bangalore. The Need Base India team welcomed them, and they explained in detail about the activities like the daily schedule of the Rainbow Home, education activities, about the documents maintained, etc. Next, they visited our Sirampura Girl's Home and interacted with the team and children. We explained more about the mobilization of funds, the engagement of volunteers, and the statutory documents to be maintained. The Need Base India wished all the best for the SBF and assured possible support. We visited residential homes, Jalahalli Village, and Srirampura Center in Bangalore. We interacted with the team and the children. We were inspired by the activities undertaken by Need Base India.

On January 17, 2022, the trustee of SFB visited the Morarji Desai and Navodaya residential schools to understand the seat availability, their functioning, and the competition test. They interacted with the authorities and got the information.

The trustee members are very active, and they have a passion to do some social good in their surrounding environment. The SBF members and the youth have planted more than 100 trees. On the occasion of the Republic Day celebration on January 26, 2022, we planted 100 trees in the police station campus, graveyard, and roadside at Munirabad. We are maintaining the trees every day by putting in water.
