Help us to feed stray animals of Delhi, Our main focus is that we want to feed more and more strays on a regular basis, give them love and try to provide a forever home for them.

A lot of strays have been living a hell life and do require a lot of attention and care. We have been working towards feeding more and more strays and giving them proper medical care to whoever is in need of this. There are so many hungry homeless animals on the streets searching for food and we are willing to provide for them. We need your help to feed more and more stray animals. Animals have offered friendship to humanity, since the beginning of time. It's time humanity fulfills the obligation.

Capable are accountable for the helpless and incapable, This is true for animals as well as all aspects of human life. if capable do not commit to helping incapable then helpless are bound to get wounded and suffer. We held ourselves accountable and asked peers and friends to understand this accountability and started this journey to raise funds and resources and expertise and volunteers to address animal food insecurities in the city of Delhi.

Animal food insecurity is a fundamental issue that everyone is capable of relating to relating. We have around 100-120 stray animals including dogs and cats in Delhi whom we are feeding regularly. Also, 10 dogs have been admitted to the hospital and a few have been staying at our friend's shelter. All of them are struggling for food and water and have their own ecosystem of problems that need our attention.

We chose to address the hunger and food insecurity of animals as it is easier for people to identify with this issue and people can come together in order to address this issue. An attentive community can address all sorts of problems and enable all required operations and hence this is more about people coming together and giving attention to these homeless animals. Hunger is the reason we are using to organize such a community willing to identify and address the problems of homeless animals. With this campaign, we also want to raise funds for making shelter as we are lacking this for now. We need a shelter where we can keep these dogs and give them a more protective place. 

We ask people to join hands and come together and make sure we feed all stray animals in the city of Delhi.

About the NGO:

Soul For Strays has been working towards animal protection and welfare for 5 years and has been officially founded earlier this year in Delhi (India), have reached the cause prior to lockdown in the following ways -

1. We have been feeding more than 100-120 stray dogs, cats & cows & other animals in the Delhi city range every day.

2. Around 100+ rescued dogs and cats have been treated well and sent back to their places after getting fully recovered.

3. We have installed more than 30 drinking water pots across various locations around the Geeta colony.

4. We have provided a forever home to around 50+ street dogs who were in need of a forever home. 

5. We have provided medical treatments to hundreds of wounded animals and we continue to do so as we come across the needy.

NGO has continued feeding and taking care of stray animals during the lockdown. We are trying to reach out to as many strays as possible every day.
