This Winter Join Hands With SEHAS & Donate Blankets For Needy

We are working in the field of Eye and Health Care and other need based services. We usually organise Free Eye Camp and Health Camp to serve the needy people of the society. SEHAS use to organise Blanket Distribution Program every year for the downtrodden people. We regularly organise Blood Donation Camp and distribute Food Packets among the distressed. We regularly arrange Awareness Programme among the less literate people to maintain their good health and hygiene.

We are running a permanent "Kapda Bank "( reusable dresses) and distribute clothes to the poor regularly. SEHAS is running permanent Health Care Center to serve the needy. Last year during Covid,  we used to distribute masks, sanitizers, soaps and give awareness to overcome the obstacles. We have distributed clothes and food packets ( including milk for the children) to the economically challenged people to fight against all odds.

Being a resident of a small suburban town and usually traveling by train, we see many strangers use to sleep at Railway Station at night. They don't even have a piece of cloth to cover themselves in winter. Having a blanket is a dream for them. From Howrah to Bandel, there are 17 station and we noticed 15 to 20 people per station, spending their night such way. We need approximately 300 blankets ( around 250/- per blanket) to give them some warm atmosphere to fight against this cold weather.
