My name is Pranay Vora. I turn 26 today. I have been very fortunate in this life to be surrounded by loved ones. I have received a very good education and now I can stand on my own feet. There are many children who aren't as lucky. Education is still a dream for millions of children all over India. There are elderly people who have been abandoned. Even animals suffer greatly. You have a chance to donate to a cause of you choice. 

1)Education kits: I would like to raise education kits for children at Sphoorti Foundation. Started by Sriyal Vuyyuri in 2006, Sphoorti has served more than 350 kids to this day. These children are either orphaned or abandoned. Sphoorti Foundation looks after the welfare of children up until they graduate from college. Many of Sphoorti's children are now working in MNCs and are self-sufficient. If you happen to be in Hyderabad, you can also visit this NGO in Dundigal.

2)Sanitary pads:  I would like to raise sanitary pads for girls in rural Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. 23 million girls have dropped out of school in India because of the lack of sanitary products. Menstruation still remains a huge taboo in rural India. Many parents refuse to send their daughters to school during menstruation due to poverty. P.U.R.E( People for Urban and Rural Education) started by Shyla Talluri works to improve the conditions of schools in rural India. The sanitary pads that you donate will be sent to this organization. We need to empower our girls, that change starts with education. 

3) Adult diapers: Growing old can be very challenging. Your body doesn’t work the way it used to. Everyone deserves to age with grace. Donate adult diapers for the elderly. Help them lead a dignified life in their final years. These are the people who raised our generation. It's time for us to give back and ease their suffering. Good Samaritans India is an old shelter in Hyderabad that rescues abandoned old folks. Let's help the elderly in this NGO. 

4) Fodder: It is a common practice in rural India to abandon old cows after they cease to produce milk. Despite providing for the livelihood of their owners for the most part of their lives, these cows are left to starve and die, during their dry period. Please donate fodder to save these cows. Satyam Dietym Sundaram is a goshala in Hyderabad that serves over 5000 cows.
