16YO Rahul Wants To Join The Army But Cancer Is Killing Him, Donate Now To Save Him

Feel free to ask Campaigner for a new update on this Fundraiser.

    Project

16-year-old Rahul’s life was one everyone aspired for. He woke up at 5:30 every morning, did 12 Surya Namaskars and 25 sit-ups. After a quick run, he wrapped up his fitness routine and left for school at 8. Never did he skip a day. Because it was his dream to become strong, join the Army, and protect his country. Little did he know that he had bigger battles to fight.

Diagnosed with blood cancer, Rahul lies in the hospital today, weak and tired. Forced to quit his fitness routine and forced to drop out of school just before his 10th boards, he wonders what more he has to lose.

All Revanth wanted was a cough syrup for his son, but instead, he was given a cancer diagnosis

My boy never fell sick. Never. When he started coughing, we were confused. We thought it was an allergy and I took him to the doctor. But they ran tests and told me it was blood cancer. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.” - Revanth, father, breaks down

Keeping the devastating news to himself, Revanth rushed his son to Bengaluru

When Rahul was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on January 8th, his father wasted no time. He left his wife and daughter behind in Hallur village and rushed Rahul to Bengaluru for urgent chemotherapy. He tried to hide the truth, but they found out anyway.

They told me it was an allergy. But weeks passed, and my son wasn’t home. When I finally saw him, he was so weak, I couldn’t even ask questions. Then I looked up at the hospital board… it said ‘cancer.’ My world spun. This happens in movies, not to my child. And when Rahul found out? He just fell silent… helpless.” — Lakshmi, mother

Rahul’s treatment costs 16 lakh rupees, but Revanth, a farmer, can’t afford it

Rahul has been fighting leukemia, and he needs six months of treatment to bring it under control before he can undergo surgery. The cost? 16 lakhs. On top of that, complications like kidney and bladder infections have added to the expenses.

His father, Revanth, has already sold his farmland and spent everything he had on Rahul’s treatment. Now, he has nothing left—but he’s not giving up. Rahul’s only hope is you.

I don’t have anything left. Please help me cure my son and take him back home. He doesn’t deserve this. No child does. I want to see him live a long life. Please. Even a little contribution from you can make a difference…” - Revanth, father.
