Donate some essential medicines and food to the animals affected by Cyclone Fani

Since Cyclone Fani made landfall in Odisha on May 3^rd 2019, nearly 12 lakh people were evacuated from their homes in numerous districts. The cyclone storm with wind speeds up to 200 km per hour rendered heavy rains and caused havoc as it passed through Odisha.  While the administration salvaged circumstances for the people by providing adequate resources through the process of rescue and control – various shelters are working around the clock to protect some of the area's most vulnerable inhabitants: animals. Rescue efforts are underway for animals that have incurred loss of habitat, injuries or food scarcity over the past few days. Animals (including cattle and livestock) affected are being provided with shelter, food and treatment by Humane Society International/India's partner APOWA.
