Project
Glad Bharat Foundation, Non-Government Organization founded on 5th August 2019. Work Today for a Glad Tomorrow is a motto for our team. An organization through which we want to give back lost dreams and hope for a better tomorrow to everyone. Life hasn’t been easy for anyone at any point in time. However, for a few, it has been even worst with a lack of available resources. We started as few hands in 2019 eagerly looking forward to helping as many people as we can reach to make a change in their lives.
Our Vision
Our vision is a just world without poverty, pollution, illiteracy, unemployment, and pain, dedicated to building a healthy living planet for the future generation. Glad Bharat Foundation working with an idea to develop a fragile society into an effective civil society. Our steps are to enhance the dignity of the poor by raising their literacy and financial status by engaging them in various activities through skill training development programs, and utilizing local resources as an employment tool. Education is the only way to achieve the goal.
Glad Bharat Foundation’s initiative Glad Bharat Paathshaala is started to uplift the literacy level of the Gaya and Nawada districts of Bihar. Apart from education, this Glad Bharat Paathshaala is a model pathshala of learning from where we achieve the goal of environment protection, health, and livelihood too.
Out of 50, Glad Bharat Foundation has started 6 Glad Bharat Paathshaala in the first phase, 2 Glad Bharat Paathshaala at Gaya, and 4 Glad Bharat Paathshaala at Nawada.
During the lockdown, Glad Bharat Paathshaala also protects the Right To Education of underprivileged children who don’t have access to a virtual modes of education.
With a mission of “Glad Bharat Pathashala,” the organization has provided a basic education center that aims at reducing illiteracy in the Gaya and Nawada districts of Bihar state. An urge to improve the plight of underprivileged Indian children. It acted as a link between people who were willing and able to contribute resources, and organizations at the grassroots which lacked resources and provides underprivileged children support in English, Hindi, Mathematics, Urdu & Sanskrit in order to break the vicious cycle of poverty.
Glad Bharat Paathshaala aims at making everyone able to read and write, thus achieving high literacy rate in these districts of Bihar.
The reality of underprivileged children in the country
Underprivileged children miss out on every opportunity to live a nourishing childhood, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Less than half of children between the ages of 6 and 14 go to school in the country. As these children grow, they are less likely to support themselves fully or become contributing citizens to the country. The lack of education will inevitably set them on the path toward poverty and even crime
