Reusable Sanitary Pads and Menstrual Hygiene for the Tribal in Phansad wildlife santuary

Feel free to ask Campaigner for a new update on this Fundraiser.

    Project

The menstrual cycle is a natural and necessary biological process for women. However, in many parts of the world, women face challenges managing their menstruation, which negatively affects their health, education, and economic opportunities. This is especially true for women belonging to tribal communities, who often lack access to basic menstrual hygiene products and face social stigma and taboos surrounding menstruation. By using reusable sanitary pads, these tribal women improve their hygiene without creating pollution and damaging Phansad wildlife sanctuary.

    Benefits of Reusable Cotton Pads

Reusable cotton pads are an eco-friendly and cost-effective alternative to disposable menstrual products. They are made of soft and breathable cotton material, which is gentle on the skin and reduces the risk of rashes and infections. Reusable pads can be washed and reused for up to two years, which saves money and reduces waste. By using reusable cotton pads, women can contribute to the environment and reduce their carbon footprint.

    Benefits of Menstrual Hygiene

Good menstrual hygiene is essential for women's health and well-being. Poor menstrual hygiene practices can lead to infections, reproductive health problems, and other health issues. By practicing good menstrual hygiene, women can prevent these problems and maintain their physical and mental health. They can also participate in social and economic activities without any restrictions or discomfort.

    Benefits for the tribal communities

Women belonging to tribal communities often face challenges accessing basic menstrual hygiene products and services. They may have to use unhygienic and unsafe alternatives, such as cloth, leaves, and ashes, which can lead to health problems. By promoting reusable cotton pads and menstrual hygiene practices, we can improve the health and well-being of women in tribal communities. This will also help them participate in educational and economic activities without any limitations or restrictions.

Promoting reusable cotton pads and menstrual hygiene practices can have a positive impact on the health and well-being of women in tribal communities. By raising awareness and providing access to basic menstrual hygiene products and services, we can empower women to take control of their menstrual health and participate in social and economic activities without any discomfort or stigma. Let's work together to create a healthier and more equitable world for all women.
