A Diwali to Remember: Empowering Disabled Children

VOICE Trust, in collaboration with DONATEKART, is embarking on a heartwarming initiative to celebrate Diwali with 250 disabled children. This festive event, scheduled to take place between October 19th and 26th, aims to spread joy, empowerment, and inclusivity among these young souls.

Bharathidasan University has graciously offered its premises to host this joyous occasion. The event will bring together a diverse group of individuals, including 250 disabled children, their caregivers, staff and students of the university, well-wishers, and representatives from DONATEKART and VOICE Trust.

The estimated cost for this festive celebration is Rs. 6,00,000/-. The funds will be allocated towards providing new clothes for the 250 disabled children, prizes for games and sports, prizes for their caregivers, food and snacks, and transportation expenses.

Village Cooking Channel has generously donated Rs. 50,000/- towards this noble cause. Additionally, a local biryani shop has committed to providing biryani to all 250 disabled children and offering subsidized lunch to the remaining 350 attendees.
