Dignity Drive’s Emergency Relief: India Shivers!
I'm here writing to you with a heavy heart on what I, along with my friends witnessed, last night on the roads of our city, Hyderabad.
As you all know the sudden changes in the temperature increased the coldness and the city has experienced unpleasantly cold weather on Monday with a sudden fall in temperature.
Last night was the coldest night so far.
My friends yesterday took a last minute decision and bought a few blankets to distribute to the vulnerable and I was a part of that drive.
We distributed blankets near LVPEI at 2:00 am but there were people who didn’t receive and we promised them that we would return tomorrow with blankets.

We’ve seen old people, children on the platforms covered with gunnysacks and some thin sheets to protect themselves from the winter chills.
