This Republic Day, Support This Retired Colonel In Uttarakhand In Training Future Heroes of the Nation

The unwavering courage and sacrifice of our brave soldiers inspires millions of young Indians to dream of donning the uniform and serving the country. But for many youths, especially in remote areas like Uttarakhand, this dream remains out of reach. Lack of proper training and resources often becomes the biggest hurdle.

This is where the Youth Foundation, led by Col. (Retd.) Ajay Kothiyal, steps in. Born out of a heartfelt plea from villagers during the Uttarakhand floods, the foundation trains young boys and girls for Indian Army recruitment—giving them hope, purpose, and a chance to serve the nation. This Republic Day, you can be the ray of hope. 

A Legacy of Service and Dedication

Col. Kothiyal, a decorated soldier with Kirti Chakra, Shaurya Chakra, and Vishisht Seva Medal, started this mission with his savings, training the first batch of 32 cadets. Today, the foundation operates 8 camps annually, providing rigorous physical and mental training to hundreds of youth with the help of retired Army personnel.

One of them is 21-year-old Ayush, who joined the camp to prepare for the Agniveer physical exam. Inspired by his brother in the Army, Ayush says, “This camp not only trains us but transforms us. We’ve become brothers from strangers, sharing a bond that will last a lifetime.”
