Let's Extend the celebrations and love of festivities this season to the HOMELESS
Adhikar Foundation proudly announces its *No_One_Will_Sleep_Cold* Campaign
While the Government moves many people to temporary shelters every year but a large number still sleep out in the open. Winters in North India have become colder in recent years which experts say is due to climate change. It is common in Delhi to see families sleeping on platforms, road sides and under Flyovers. Despite various measures by Government and Civil Society, the death rate due to cold has continued without halt.
Through this goal, we wish to distribute quilts to the homeless people of Delhi. As we all know that Delhi winters can be deadly if a person does not take care of themselves. So to save people from this wave we distribute quilts to the homeless people so that they remain safe during these 3-4 months. Last year we distributed quilts to 11,000 homeless people across Delhi. This year we wish to reach 20,000 people across Delhi.

Adhikar Foundation was founded by Anas Rashid in 2017 to provide quality education, healthcare facilities, and equality for underprivileged kids and people with disabilities. Our vision is to form an inclusive society, free from discrimination where everyone can become a contributing member living with dignity and respect. In almost 4 years of operations, we have helped approx. xx people. Our current projects are focused on 3 broad segments, i.e. education, health, and nutrition of underprivileged kids.
