    Project

    Angel Eyes Bird Rescue

The foundation's Bird Rescue Operations kick-started in 2010. Through this project we have had the privilege of rescuing, treating, rehabilitating and releasing thousands of birds back into the wild. Our busiest time of the year is during the kite flying seasons of Independence Day in August in North India and Makar Sankranti in January in West India.

    Angel Eyes Eco Tribe

During these months, Angel Eyes operates Free Bird Procedure Camps in Delhi and Jaipur, to operate on birds injured or maimed by the lethal glass-coated ‘maanja.’ Their procedure camps this year and the last, were fully functional despite the pandemic and helped treat and cure over 500 critically wounded wild birds.

Eco Tribe is an initiative aimed at large-scale tree plantation drives, biodiversity conservation and waste recycling. The foundation has already planted over 50,000 native trees in Jaipur over the last three years, employing sustainable and efficient modern techniques.

Most recently, Angel Eyes paid its tributes on Forest Martyrs Day, observed on September 11, through a Seed Ball Plantation Drive at the Jhalana Forest Reserve in Jaipur. Seeds of the Khejri tree, embedded in a ball of mud and compost mixed with nutritious binders, were systematically strewn in areas where the natural conditions would enhance their ability to grow.

    Angel Eyes Animal Welfare

The population of the Khejri tree, which is the state tree of Rajasthan, is dying a slow death according to scientists and environmentalists, and the protection of this revered tree is what triggered the original Chipko Movement.

As a part of its Animal Welfare Initiative, Angel Eyes has conducted numerous educational and awareness workshops with school children. Most recently, a workshop titled 'A Beginner’s Guide to Animal Welfare and Wildlife Protection’ with 50 underprivileged and orphaned students studying with the Shrinemira Memorial Society, Agra.

In addition to this, the organization held Feeding Drives for street dogs, stray cattle as well as wild animals during the entire course of the pandemic, in both Gurgaon and Jaipur. Our feeding drives continue till date and have been a success due to the support of our community of volunteers and well-wishers.

    About NGO

Founded in 2008, Angel Eyes set out with a vision to tackle welfare issues at the grass-root level and has since expanded its efforts towards Bird Rescue & Rehabilitation, Wildlife & Nature Conservation and Social Awareness Campaigns. With units in Delhi, Gurgaon and Jaipur, the organization has grown strength-by-strength through the support of various like-minded individuals and communities and today, looks forward to widen its reach into newer welfare avenues.
