Project
It’s while sharing our concern for abandoned and injured animals, the decision was made to form a shelter for them. And thus came into existence Animal Care Trust (ACT) on 30.03.2000. Today, after 19 years of providing care and shelter to abandoned/sick/stray animals at ‘Vatsalya’, our home for them, ACT stands as a monument of compassion towards animals.
We have over 200 residents at any given point of time. These are animals that are either visually challenged, deaf, amputees or ones’ that have been injured to an extent that they cannot survive on their own and require constant monitoring and support. We are a NO KILL shelter and we do our best to ensure them comfort.
As you would imagine, the operation cost of the activities that we conduct are phenomenal and they increase by the day. ACT is recognized by the Animal Welfare Board of India and is run on public support and donations.
This is an appeal for your support in providing food and medication for our four-legged friends.
Note: Donations towards this fundraiser are not eligible for any tax deduction such as 80G, 501(c) etc.
