Story of the changemaker
The new school year is almost upon us. As has been the case for the last 14 years, we are eagerly awaiting the return of our children to begin the next step in their learning journey.
What started out as an emotional response to the plight of extremely marginalized children affected by the Asian Tsunami, today Vanavil has blossomed into a thriving place where children learn languages, math, science, arts and much much more.
None of it would have been possible without the kindness afforded by virtual strangers. Here we are again, looking to you for support of our children with school and stay essentials as they take another step towards a life of dignity and freedom.
