Distance is a big factor for girls dropping out of school in India. 32.5% of girls dropout at secondary level. Another big reason is also family constraints. With a cycle, girls won't have to worry about how to get to school. A bicycle can empower girls in more ways than one. A cycle will also lessen the strain on their families. Mothers and fathers will be able to send their girls to school with the reassurance that their child is safe.
We wish to provide 100 bicycles to about 100 school going girls on the occasion of National Girl Child Day. Let's celebrate our girls by giving them better access to education. Donate one cycle and you'll be helping a girl child get to school. We'll be donating these cycles to girls in few districts of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala.
