Story of the changemaker
Shri Parshuram Aabaji Jagtap Central SC Primary and Secondary Residential Ashram School is run by the Annapurna NGO in rural Pune, at a village called Wadki. The school houses 200 kids, from low income households, studying in grades I to X.
These kids, some of whom are orphans, live at the school, where their classrooms double up as their living space, post school hours. The school is occasionally supported by organisations through their CSR activities to meet the educational needs. However, daily needs of the kids like meals, clothes, medicines and sanitation requirements, rarely fall under primary CSR initiatives, hence is a constant challenge to be met.
We at the school, are continuously looking out for support in terms of meeting the basic nutritional needs for their breakfast, lunch and dinner. Help us nourish & nurture tomorrow's leaders!
