Story of the campaigner
Dear Change Makers,
In a village in East Godavari, Padma was trapped. As a seasonal laborer, she lived day-to-day, often unable to afford her children's school fees.
Everything changed when she joined PARD India’s "Power of Sewing" program. She didn't just receive a machine she gained a profession. Today, Padma is a self-reliant "Technocrat" of her village, running a home business that keeps her children in school and her family fed.
The Goal: We are raising funds to gift 100 sewing machines to women like Padma this month.

Our NGO, Pragathi Association for Rural Development, has been working tirelessly for the betterment of women in the country, Women all over India are in need of assistance when it comes to education and financial independence. It's a critical moment for us to take a stand for their rights and challenge the limitations imposed by society.
