Help Vridh Care Provide Adult Diapers For Senior Citizens In Old Age Homes

Senior Citizens in Old Age Homes are bedridden, suffering from various chronic health conditions such as immobilitiy, dementia, loss of muscle tone and Muscle Stiffness, Pressure Ulcers . As, COVID-19 virus is occupying our lives, it is affecting the lives of senior citizens. Regular incontinence issues come up because of a weakening bladder or pelvic muscles over time as we age.

Wearing a diaper can help avoid much of the discomfort felt when bladder leaks happen in regular clothing. Less stress with adult diapers, the worry of clothing stains goes down. They also resolve the anxiety of constantly searching for a bathroom when leaks happen.

We chose to address the issues of senior citizens suffering from Chronic health conditions,  Cognitive health, Mental health, Physical injury, when we visit old age homes we address such issues and we urge people can come together in order to address this issue.

An attentive community can address all sorts of problems and enable all required operations and hence this is more about people coming together and giving attention to senior citizens in old age homes.

Chronic health conditions,  Cognitive health, Mental health, Physical injury are the reasons we are using to organize such a community willing to identify and address the problems of senior citizens in old age homes. Amidst situations like lockdowns,  fulfilling basic needs has become more challenging than ever for senior citizens and it is our responsibility as sensitive human beings to address those problems.

Vridhcare, a not-for-profit organization headquartered in New Delhi, has committed itself to bring relief to the rising population of the elderly. We have set out on this agenda with a vision ‘To be the catalyst to minimize old age destitution and ensure that globally all old age destitute live a life of dignity.

1. Vridhcare is serving 426 old-age homes in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, UP, Jharkhand, West-Bengal and Madhya Pradesh.

2. Around 25000 senior citizens are serving in 412 Old Age Homes.

3. Vridhcare ensures clean drinking water, nutritious food, basic healthcare and hygienic living conditions

4. To maintain Hygienic Living conditions in Old Age Homes Adult Diapers are necessary for senior citizens with various conditions, such as incontinence, mobility impairment, severe diarrhea or dementia.

5. We are providing adult diapers for bed ridden and needy senior citizens on a monthly basis. The Adult Diapers are antibacterial and work as Leakage barrier, odor control and Ideal for both men and women

6. Till now we have provided 1000 cartons of Adult Diapers to needy senior citizens in all these old age homes.

7.   We have continued providing Adult Diapers even during the lockdown.
