The word light is a magical word, as it eradicates everything that is dark and evil. We have taken up the mission to scatter the light of good health and mass development through the different programs of our organization. Past four years, all the members of our organization have been working in tandem to cater to the needs of the underprivileged and downtrodden.

To a lot of extent, we have been successful but still have not achieved our goal. We want to serve every person who is in need. We have assumed the responsibility of awakening a new consciousness that will foster people’s participation & corporate responsibilities within the structures of society.

Utthan Foundation is a registered NGO that is primarily engaged in serving basic food to the deserving ones, and its seeds were sown in the year 2017 with its first iconic and dignified project, “Akshat Aahar Yojana.” As the name indicates, this scheme was envisaged to serve all the corners of society by serving a healthy and balanced meal at a mere token of Rs. 5/-, which makes this project different from conventional langars and bandanas provided free of cost. 

These five rupees give me the feeling of conserving food with dignity. Every Sunday under this scheme, we apply for stalls in different locations in Modinagar and Ghaziabad. This project was one of the first to be promulgated in Delhi, NCR.

Which was approved by all the masterminds behind the success of the project: CA Rahul Jain (President) , Dr. Sonika Jain (Sectary), Dr. G.S. Sachdeva (City Head), and Sh. Anil Bhargava (Head Akshat Aahar Yojana). The products we regularly required are tents, tables with cloth covers, chairs, water dispensers and (prepared) good quality food.

Which comprises chole-chawal, Rajma-chawal, curry-chawal, vegetable biryani, and mittha - chawal on a rotatory basis. Our foundation owns all the necessary utensils required for cooking, along with a paid chef or halwa. The deserving persons with a deficiency of meals who are below the poverty line, laborers, artisans, children in slum areas, and rickshaw walas are the major beneficiaries.

Mission: To make human settlements equitable living environments where all residents and vulnerable people have access to health, education, essential infrastructure services, and livelihood options, irrespective of their economic and social status.
