For many of us, sports have been an integral part of growing up. Whether it’s playing on the streets with our neighbourhood friends or playing in school, they have been a memorable part of our childhood. However, not every child gets to experience the joy of sports.
Thousands of children in rural India have little to no access to sports, despite having an immense amount of talent. More so for the girls who are expected to do household chores instead of going out to play.
Unbound Futures Foundation wants to give 120 girls in Baharanpur a chance to play their favourite sport and exhibit their talents.
They’re Working Towards A Better Future For Underprivileged Girls
Started by Roshni Pradhan and Lt. Col. S. Pradhan over 20 years ago, Unbound Futures Foundation is an NGO working towards community building and development. They focus on healthcare, sports and education for the underprivileged. They conduct their activities by partnering with NGOs on ground and have over 1050+ volunteers who work with them.
Keeping their mission for improving sports access to children in rural India in mind, Unbound Futures Foundation now wants to conduct a football tournament in Baharanpur for 120 girls from the tribal and Dalit communities.

The football tournament will tentatively be held on International Women’s Day this year to support and encourage the undying spirit of girls and women in rural India. However, Unbound Futures Foundation needs your help to make this happen.

To successfully conduct this event, the NGO needs your support to get sports kits, fruits and energy drinks to ensure that these girls are able to perform to the best of their abilities.
