Story of the campaigner
The second wave has hit the rural areas harder than we know. For them, it’s not just a fight against Covid-19, it’s also about fighting to survive one more day - fighting to get even the most basic essentials.
Due to the lack of infrastructure and awareness, many people in rural areas are suffering more than the urban population. Shortage of medicines required for the treatment of Covid-19 continues to be a big challenge.
Saadhya, an NGO, hopes to help the people in rural India overcome these challenges by lending their support. Started by a group of young doctors with the determination to bring about a change in the society, especially rural areas, Saadhya aims to help as many people as possible in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Their efforts throughout the pandemic have been relentless.
During the second wave, they want to help those suffering in rural areas get the medical kit they need. This includes multivitamins, vitamin C and D3, Ivermectin, and Dolo among others. These medicines will help them make it through these difficult times.
However, they can’t do it without your help. Saadhya needs your support to ensure that these helpless people get the medicines they need during these difficult times. Since many of them have lost their livelihoods during these times, affording even a single meal is difficult for them, let alone medicines. Together, we can help them overcome this crisis.
About the NGO:
Saadhya is an initiative by young doctors who are working towards empowering and helping
people in the rural areas of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. During the second wave, they want to help them get essential medicines that they need to survive.
