Often, these dogs resort to scavenging for food in trash bins or public areas, which can lead to sanitation issues and create an unfavorable environment for both humans and animals. By providing regular meals, we ensure that these dogs do not have to resort to such measures, thereby mitigating potential confrontations between strays and people. A well-fed stray dog is less likely to exhibit aggressive behavior, contributing to an overall sense of safety and harmony within the community.
Promoting Animal Welfare: Feeding initiatives for stray dogs exemplify our commitment to animal welfare. These dogs have endured neglect, abandonment, or unfortunate circumstances that have led them to the streets. By providing them with food, we acknowledge their existence and show compassion for their plight. Such acts of kindness reinforce the idea that every living creature deserves love and care, irrespective of their circumstances. About the NGO: The Street Life NGO was started in August 2021. It is a registered non-profit organization. Our Dog Rescue shelter is located in Murthal, Sonipat; a town where no place was available to keep injured and ill furry friends. We managed to build a small, heavenly adobe for our city dogs. We rescue dogs, treat them at the shelter, and release them back at their designated spot. Those who are unable to survive on the streets stay with us.
