“People get surprised when they see me running to the rescue of a puppy even in the wee hours of the night. Can’t it wait? I am often asked if I say, "NO." These animals have no one to look after them - even a delay of a few hours can kill them. They deserve to live a happy and healthy life too,” - Lakshmi Swaminathan, Co-Founder, Mylos Rescue.
While Mylos was registered under a trust in 2021 in Bangalore, Lakshmi has been rescuing and looking after injured and sick stray dogs for more than a decade now. She wants to give every dog the chance to live a healthy life. Over the years, Mylos has rescued thousands of dogs in need but Lakshmi wants to do so much more.
“About a week ago, we rescued Hari. He was old and had a 6.9kg rare condition in his abdomen. The poor animal was crying out in pain when a stray feeder noticed his plight. They contacted us at around midnight and we rushed to the spot. Although, he was in such a bad condition, we knew we would do anything to save him.”
After a 5-day-long procedure, they were able to save him with the help of skilled doctors and a dedicated team who wanted to give Hari a second chance. Hari is just one of the numerous cases who has been taken care of by this NGO. Mylos Rescue is working towards a world where no stray will be victims of animal cruelty - they want to end their suffering and give them all a safe home and nutritious food.
Mylos works actively to spread awareness about the need to spay and neuter stray dogs to keep the population in check. They are also home to 170+ dogs who are too sick or old to live on the streets by themselves. At Mylos, they get the love and care they need.

After you complete your donation successfully, you will find the 'GET 80G' button on the payment success page. Please fill in your PAN number, complete address, and name as per PAN and submit. Your 80G certificate will be generated and sent via email within 24 hours.
Alternatively, you can get your 80G receipt in a few simple steps:
- Log in to your account using the same email ID you used for the donation
- Go to ‘My Donations’
- Choose the financial year for which you'd like the donation certificate
- Click on ‘Download 80G Certificate’
- Fill out the Form (if required)
- Submit the form and 80G will get downloaded instantly
Instead of receiving separate 80G certificates for each donation, you'll receive a consolidated 80G certificate via email covering all your donations made through our platform in the financial year. Further, The corresponding 10BE form that proves your eligibility for the tax deduction will also be consolidated. This way, you won't have to worry about multiple downloads and can save time.
To qualify for tax exemption on your donations, you need to obtain a 10BE. This can be done by filing your 80G claims for donations made during the Financial Year (FY). You can download your 10BE from the ‘My Profile’ section by 31st May of the next FY and also receive it via email.
For example: if you made donations between April 2025 and March 2026 (FY 2025-26), you will get your 10BE by 31st May 2026, provided you need to claim the 80G for these donations.
Please note that you cannot claim 80G for donations made between April 2024 and March 2025 (FY 2024-25) anymore as the window for claiming it has closed. However, you can still get the 10BEs for that year if you made 80G claims on or before 31st July 2025.
Sometimes prices of the products change during the course of the campaign, we use these tips to cover the hike in prices and deliver the goods to NGOs.
Tip is a voluntary contribution towards our platform and donors can choose to give any amount as tips.
