    Project

Throughout the day we get hundreds of frantic calls and we try to respond to as many of them as we can. But just a few days back, we got a call at 2 am - an elderly woman was in need of immediate oxygen. The voice on the other side of the phone quivered with fear as it enquired if we would be able to take her in our Ram Mandir Free Oxygen Drive Center in Gurgaon. All of a sudden, the reality hit us hard - people in my country are struggling for a single breath and we want to do everything to help them,” - Anurag Trivedi, Shaan Foundation.

Shaan Foundation took in the elderly lady who was in urgent need of medical attention and many more in their oxygen centre in Gurgaon. The dedicated team of volunteers are working round the clock to help people in and around Gurgaon to fight the second wave. Apart from Gurgaon, they aim to help people in Unnao, Amethi and Raebareli.

Delhi has seen unprecedented demand and consequent shortage of oxygen. Thousands are suffering in this new and massive wave of the pandemic with very low levels of blood oxygen. However, organisations like that of  Shaan Foundation in Gurgaon are a ray of hope amidst this chaos and helplessness.

Shaan Foundation passionately runs numerous welfare initiatives for the underprivileged section of the country on education, healthcare, livelihood with a special focus on women empowerment of rural India. Established on 15th June 2018, Shaan Foundation started its journey in the education domain where under Shaan IAS Coaching, they have been guiding young aspirants towards a dignified future where they can become substantial contributors to our nation's growth.

Since the pandemic last year, Shaan Foundation has stepped up to help the poor and underprivileged through the food drive initiative. This time they have been distributing oxygen cylinders and now have started an oxygen centre where the patients have access to first aid and immediate medical care till they get a hospital bed - all free of cost. Now, they need your help to procure more  concentrators, cylinders, medical beds, PPE kits, fans, stretchers etc for the centre.

Shaan Foundation  will be making an oxygen center in the Community Health Care Center of Patan block, Unnao district, Uttar Pradesh. The facility will be made in the backyard of the government Community Health Care Centre. Similar centres will be made in Hilauli block and Ganga ghat. Initially serving as Covid Centres, they will finally be used by government hospitals.

We want to work for the slum dwellers of Gurgaon and set up many more oxygen centres because that is the need of the hour now. But we would need your help for that, for the infrastructure required for these centres. Apart from Gurgaon, we aim to help people in Unnao, Amethi and Raebareli - please come forward and donate. You can save a life.”

Let us join hands with Shaan Foundation to help the ones in need and save many more lives during this pandemic.
