Join Hands With Spherule Foundation To Reach Out To Every Child That Has Been Deprived Of Education

Education for the underprivileged children has come to a complete standstill due to the lockdown situation. Almost 80% of the children enrolled in Municipal Corporation Schools have lost touch with their teachers and schools, many have dropped out and are working along with their parents as labourers, daily wage workers, vendor/hawkers or as domestic help. Spherule Foundation has taken the initiative to bring education to the doorstep of such children in these crucial times through the ‘Education on Wheels’ and ‘Digital Education’ in the marginalized communities and urban slums.

In the context of the challenges of poverty and deprivation, children living in the slums and marginalized communities are surrounded by experiences of academic failures, societal pressure for marriages in the early age groups, domestic violence and susceptibility to abuse and delinquency.Education is the key to eradicate the social evils prevalent in these communities.

As the parents are barely earning during the pandemic and trying to make ends meet, spending money on stationeries for their children is beyond their reach. It has also been observed that students are not in a practice of writing since the online mode of education began. Student are giving tests and exams on Google forms and other platforms, hence the practice of writing has declined drastically. 

Providing stationeries, charts, drawings, books, Paints, crayons, sketchpens, material for arts and crafts & learning Projects will help students to practice writing and taking notes during the classes and also develop an interest in learning.

We are looking forward to support and donation in the form of, Stationeries like Notebooks, pencils, pens, crayons, erasers, sharpeners, activity books, White boards & markers, etc.
