Story of the changemaker
School and studies are a significant part of anybody's childhood. The fun, the friends, the teachers, the dreaded exams, going to school every day was routine for all of us. While we bought new books, new stationery, new uniforms, there are some less fortunate.
Street and unprivileged children can't afford any of these amenities. They go to government schools, and something as basic as a school bag comes in the way.
How are they supposed to carry their books? How will they be motivated to study? Without a proper school bag, most of these kids have tattered and torn carry bags to carry their books in.
The unavailability of these basic amenities come in the way of the bright future of these children.
This Republic Day, we urge you to pave the road for a child's future. With your help, someone can study and grow up to make something of themselves. With education, these children can sustain and make a place for themselves in the world. All it takes is a donation.
Donate a school bag, this Republic Day, make way for a child's bright future. Donated bags will be distributed amongst kids from low income households and marginalized communities.

1) Voice of Slum: This NGO’s mission is to assimilate street children into mainstream society by providing them with quality education, exposure, and access to opportunities. The NGO is run by those born in slums(Dev Pratap and Chandni Khan), who have been through it all. They now want to help other slum kids have a better life.

2) Child Help Foundation: Child Help Foundation is a national non-profit organization dedicated to helping neglected and needy children. They work towards projects like - basic education for children, healthcare, intervention, etc. They also actively help in disaster rescue and relief operations across the country.

3) Asha Kuteer: ASHA KUTEER Children Home is a non-profit organization located in the outskirts of Hyderabad with Now total kids are 106 (40 girls, 36 boys, and 30 visually challenged boys). Most of the orphanages only serve the basic needs of orphans, but Asha Kuteer deals with both basic needs & emotional health.
