Stray Animal Foundation of India is in desperate need of food for shelter pups. With the COVID pandemic, rice cost has increased 5 times, chicken cost from Rs 140 to Rs 250 and is costing us a significant amount. Please help us by donating, sharing, and spreading!

We believe that food is medicine and that medically appropriate meals can lead to better health and well-being. So we thrive to provide the best meals for the pups we rescue. Most of the pups in our shelter are weak, malnourished, recovering from severe and chronic illnesses. A healthy meal increases the chances of full recovery. The impact you make by donating is very, very real – and it's HUGE.

All of our meals are meals are cooked every day, with rice, chicken, soy chunks, kibble, optionally eggs.

Based in Florida, Stray Animal Foundation of India is a 501(c)3 charitable organization working to give strays the critical intervention, veterinary care, and ultimately loving home they deserve. More than 35 million strays roam the streets of India, without food, veterinary care, or refuge from its often punishing elements. We’re fighting to give them a chance.

About the NGO

Stray Animal Foundation of India, founded in 2020, is a shelter based animal rescue in Hyderabad, India.

1. We’re fighting to help the animals no one else will.

2. We provide vet care for 20-40 dogs in very critical condition every month. Accidents, Injured, the challenged, paralyzed, seniors, maggot wounds, diseases, and many more. Most of the dogs have fresh wounds and their eyes make it very clear for all the pain that was overtaking her body and the suffering they had to endure. 

3. We feed almost 200 mouths every month.

4. We vaccinate and sterilize 40 dogs every month

5. In the lockdown, we fed 250 homeless animals every day.

6. COVID is hard on everyone, but the stray animals in India are the ones who are paying the consequences the most. Many of these strays are ending up in accidents, and no one looks back to help them. Since they are not getting any attention, most of them are not able to nurse their babies. Rescuers are currently partnering with local feeders in order to save these innocent pups' lives.
