Story of the campaigner
Yellaiah, a 70-year-old man belongs to the beautiful village Rebbanapally, in the state of Telangana. Yellaiah, just like most of the people in his village made a living out of farming. For years, farming and animal husbandry have been the major activities in the village.
Their hard work to earn their daily bread has reaped but their strength has diminished over the years.Yellaiah and many other villagers of his generation, have grown old and weak with age. Their tired legs find it very difficult to walk a small distance without support.
This is when the Rebbanapally nava Jyothi Youth came forward to raise funds to arrange for walking sticks for the old people in the village.
