Story of the campaigner
People for Animals, also known as PFA, is India's largest animal welfare organization with a nationwide network of 26 hospitals, 165 units, 60 mobile units, and 2.5 Lakh members. We work to rescue and rehabilitate sick and needy animals. We set up and run shelters, ambulance services, sterilisation programs, treatment camps and disaster rescue missions for animals.
More than hundreds of animals starve every day on the streets due to a lack of nutrition, support, and love. A good part of the donations will be diverted to local feeders who provide food to approximately 100 dogs on a regular basis.
The drive will allow animals that starve regularly due to a lack of any help with a good meal for the day. Feeding them can suppress their aggressive behaviour and can also save someone's bad encounter with them due to being underfed and malnourished!
