We, the National Human Rights Organization, took a pledge to fight against hunger in India, and joined together to make sure no one goes to sleep empty stomach. Our team helps to feed Poor people, underprivileged, street children, Elderly, Homeless, Specially Abled and Distressed Families. As we all know, hunger is a serious issue that affects millions of people around the world, including many in our own country.
We are working hard to provide food and other essential resources to those in need, but we can't do it alone. That's why we're asking for your help. Your donation can make a real difference in the lives of those who are struggling to put food on the table.
?811 million people, mostly children, do not have enough food. In spite of the progress made over the last decades, the road to end global hunger is still long.
Global Hunger Index 2022 report ranked India 107 out of 121 countries.?
Our strategy is based on an integrated approach which aims to eradicate the causes of hunger and poverty. We divided our team who take care from state to district level.
There are 149.2 million children under five (1 in 4) suffering from stunting – a phenomenon directly linked with chronic and recurrent malnutrition. Moreover, 45.4 million children under five globally suffer from wasting, with 13.6 million of them suffering from severe wasting (UNICEF, WHO, World Bank Group). In 45% of the cases, malnutrition is one of the main causes of death in this age group.
The causes of hunger in the world are far more complex than people normally think. Behind the shortage of food there are factors related to economic development, health services and social development; to the lack of roads and infrastructures; to climate change, extreme weather phenomena and natural calamities; to conflicts and gender discrimination.
The National Human Rights Organization has been fighting against hunger in the rural part of India for years, with development projects and awareness campaigns in the underdeveloped part of our country.
Our team members in various parts of the country are actively working on daily meals distribution to eradicate hunger and support various underprivileged, destitute, Elderly, abandoned women and kids.
In the field the activity is centered on promotion of correct nutrition especially for children, on the right and access to resources, particularly water and on agricultural development to increase productivity through diversification of crops and introduction of new technologies.
?It's really sad that lots of people still don't have the simple things they need. Children and the elderly don't even have food to eat. They’re facing a daily battle for survival. Our mission is to transform this reality.
And you can be a part of this. Join our National Human Rights Organization and help us feed many more in need.
Your support can help us bring a positive change to their lives and ensure that no one has to go to bed hungry.
Regards,
National Human Rights Organization, New Delhi
