Story of the campaigner
We Nature's Buddy is planting 5000 trees in different regions of Uttarakhand (Dehradun, Uttarkashi, and Tehri) district. These will be planted in locations like schools, societies, parks, temples, and social land where proper care will be taken by locals and our team for at least 6 months. We have planted more than 12,000 trees in the past three years. Each sapling will cost 40 rupees, which includes purchasing, transportation, and installation charges. Each plantation event will have transparency on our social media. We need your support to make “Project Vriksha” a successful mission.
Our primary goal is to plant a significant number of saplings across the Uttarakhand region to increase the green cover and restore ecological balance. By promoting the planting of native tree species, we will contribute to the preservation of biodiversity, create habitats for wildlife, and protect our natural resources.
About the NGO: Nature’s Buddy is a youth-based non-government organization that envisions the protection and development of socio-economic and environmental changes in the region of Uttarakhand.
