Subramanya is only nine years old. He has already lost his mother, and today, he is facing another difficult battle, one that has kept him in a hospital in Bengaluru and separated him from the ordinary childhood he deserves.
Subramanya is critically ill. He has atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (AHUS), which is a rare condition, and needs continued dialysis for his kidneys and liver. Every 15 days, he needs to undergo dialysis as part of his ongoing treatment. His father stays beside him at the hospital, doing everything he can to make sure his son receives the care he needs.
But the family is struggling to keep up.
Subramanya’s father works as a waiter in a restaurant. His job is far from Bengaluru, and with his son undergoing treatment, he has not been able to work for some time. Without a regular income, managing the costs of prolonged treatment has become an enormous challenge.
“My wife has passed away. We are struggling a lot,” he says.
Doctors have also told the family that Subramanya is likely to keep getting infections because his white blood cell count is very low. For his father, every day brings another worry: his son’s health, the next dialysis session, and how they will manage the expenses required to continue his treatment.
While other nine-year-olds may be thinking about school, friends, games, and what they want to be when they grow up, Subramanya’s days revolve around hospital stays and medical care.
His father has already endured the loss of his wife. Now, he is trying to protect his son through an uncertain and difficult medical journey, even as he is unable to earn a living.
Subramanya needs continued treatment, and his family needs support to keep going.
Your contribution can help the family manage the expenses associated with his ongoing dialysis and treatment in Bengaluru. It can give his father some financial relief while allowing him to remain by his son’s side.
For Subramanya, every day of continued treatment matters.
Come forward and support his treatment. Your contribution can help this young boy continue receiving the medical care he urgently needs and give his father the support he needs to keep fighting alongside him.

FAQs
After you complete your donation successfully, you will find the 'GET 80G' button on the payment success page. Please fill in your PAN number, complete address, and name as per PAN and submit. Your 80G certificate will be generated and sent via email within 24 hours.
Alternatively, you can get your 80G receipt in a few simple steps:
- Log in to your account using the same email ID you used for the donation
- Go to ‘My Donations’
- Choose the financial year for which you'd like the donation certificate
- Click on ‘Download 80G Certificate’
- Fill out the Form (if required)
- Submit the form and 80G will get downloaded instantly
Instead of receiving separate 80G certificates for each donation, you'll receive a consolidated 80G certificate via email covering all your donations made through our platform in the financial year. Further, The corresponding 10BE form that proves your eligibility for the tax deduction will also be consolidated. This way, you won't have to worry about multiple downloads and can save time.
To qualify for tax exemption on your donations, you need to obtain a 10BE. This can be done by filing your 80G claims for donations made during the Financial Year (FY). You can download your 10BE from the ‘My Profile’ section by 31st May of the next FY and also receive it via email.
For example: if you made donations between April 2026 and March 2027 (FY 2026-27), you will get your 10BE by 31st May 2027, provided you need to claim the 80G for these donations.
Please note that you cannot claim 80G for donations made between April 2025 and March 2026 (FY 2025-26) anymore as the window for claiming it has closed. However, you can still get the 10BEs for that year if you made 80G claims on or before 31st July 2027.
