Pastor Raj Kumar, 53, never imagined that a sudden headache would change his life forever.

A few days ago, he complained of intense pain in his head and dizziness. Within hours, he collapsed. His speech became unclear, and one side of his body stopped responding. His family rushed him to CMC Ludhiana, where doctors confirmed a brain hemorrhage.

It began with a severe headache. Within hours, he collapsed and lost movement on one side of his body. Doctors confirmed bleeding in the brain and advised immediate ICU care and emergency surgery.

Doctors informed the family that the bleeding had already affected his movement, leaving him paralyzed on one side. He was immediately shifted to the ICU for constant monitoring and emergency medical intervention. Surgery is required to control the damage and prevent further complications.

“He has prayed for so many people in hospital rooms like this. I never imagined I would be standing here praying for him instead,” says his wife, holding back tears.

But today, he is the one lying in the ICU at CMC Ludhiana after suffering a sudden brain hemorrhage that has left him paralyzed.

Pastor Raj Kumar is currently critical. The hemorrhage has caused paralysis, and he requires continuous ICU monitoring along with surgery to prevent further damage. Even after surgery, doctors say he may need long-term rehabilitation to walk and speak again.

For his wife, the silence is unbearable.

“He would wake up every morning and pray before doing anything else. He always said God has a plan for everyone. Today, I sit beside him and whisper prayers in his ear, hoping he can hear me.,” she says.

The estimated cost for ICU care and surgery is ₹6 lakh. The bills are increasing every day, and the family is struggling to arrange the funds in such a short time.

“He has dedicated his life to serving others without asking for anything in return. Now we are asking for help. Please pray for him and support his treatment.,” his wife pleads.
