This Little Sardar Is Fighting Blood Cancer And Needs Urgent Help

Bivaan is only 7 months old. At an age when babies should be learning to smile, crawl, and recognize their parents’ voices, Bivaan is spending his early months inside hospital rooms, fighting a life-threatening illness.

He has been diagnosed with blood cancer and is currently undergoing treatment at CMC, Ludhiana. Doctors have advised urgent immunotherapy to save his life.

For his parents, this nightmare feels painfully close to the lives they have spent years witnessing around them.

Both of them work at Guru Ram Das Charitable Hospital in Amritsar. His father works as a wound dresser, helping patients through pain and recovery every day, while his mother works as a receptionist, watching worried families walk through hospital corridors in search of hope.

“I have seen so many patients come to hospitals for treatment. I have seen mothers cry for their children. But I never imagined one day I would be carrying my own baby through those same corridors, praying someone could save him,” says Bivaan’s mother.

Today, instead of comforting others, they are struggling to save their own child.

The cost of Bivaan’s treatment is ₹60 lakhs, an amount impossible for the family to arrange alone. Between hospital stays, medicines, and constant medical care, they are slowly running out of resources.

His parents take turns staying beside him, watching helplessly as their tiny baby endures needles, medicines, and procedures he is too young to understand.

“Sometimes he just cries in pain until he falls asleep in our arms. As parents, that feeling breaks us every single day,” his father shares.

Bivaan has not even begun his life yet.

He deserves the chance to grow up healthy, to take his first steps, speak his first words, and live the childhood waiting for him beyond hospital walls.

But right now, his fight depends on timely treatment and support.
