For months, a farmer from Madanapalle dreamed of holding his newborn child in his arms, bringing the baby home, and watching a new chapter of life begin.
But nothing prepared him for the moment he saw his baby for the first time.
Instead of being cradled in a parent's arms, the tiny newborn was placed inside a hospital incubator, weighing just 800 grams.
The baby, born prematurely, is currently receiving critical medical care at Rashtrotthana Hospital, where doctors are doing everything they can to help the newborn survive and grow stronger.
“When I first saw my baby, I was afraid to even touch them. They looked so tiny and fragile. All I could think was, ‘Please let my child live,’” says the father.
A farmer by profession, he has spent his life working hard in the fields, depending on uncertain harvests and seasonal income to support his family. But today, no amount of hard work can ease the fear he feels as he watches his newborn fight for life.
Every day is filled with uncertainty.
While other parents take their babies home and begin making memories, this family spends its days inside hospital corridors, waiting anxiously for updates from doctors.
Since the day their baby was admitted, the family has been living between hope and fear. Every conversation with the doctors becomes a moment they cling to, and every positive update feels like a blessing. Their greatest wish is simple: to see their baby grow strong enough to leave the hospital and come home.
“The only thing we pray for now is that our baby becomes strong enough to come home with us,” the family shares.
The tiny child continues to require specialized medical attention and close monitoring. Each passing day is crucial in the baby's journey toward recovery.
Like every mother and father, they dream of a future where their child can grow, play, go to school, and live a healthy life. Today, they are holding on to that dream with all their strength.
Please come forward and help Baby of Shireesha get the treatment and care needed to survive and thrive.
