Story of the campaigner
Hand in hand, let’s end hunger!
The city of Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh is home to a dense population of daily wage workers, migrant labour and other families in poverty.
With the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic disrupting their livelihood, these families are now most vulnerable due to malnutrition and heightened exposure to the virus. Without necessary resources to survive, they are on the brink of starvation.
#FeedTheNeedy aims to provide well-balanced nutrition to disadvantaged families, who are severely affected by the COVID-19 Lockdown in Vijayawada.
Their team has carefully curated a list of staples to be provided to families in need, based on the local dietary preferences and existing ration aid (free rice & dal) from the government.
With as little as Rs.500, you will be able to provide the starving families a grocery kit, which includes all basic essentials they require to make it through the lockdown!
Donate a grocery kit to the families in need and end hunger now!
