Our social initiatives provide basic necessities like food, health, and education, and the Animal Care project protects and nurtures all animals in Vrindavan. LOVE BRAJ SOCIAL INITIATIVES Welcome to the core of our existence at Love Braj, seeking to serve the most underprivileged, as we believe that the greatest necessity presents the greatest opportunity to serve. 

• Vakch Kavach’- Chest clinic - Launched in 2009, serving >500 patients weekly, while biannual camps continuously serve high cluster requirement areas in Braj. 

• Dental Care - Providing free of charge high-quality dental treatment & care since 2014. - Serving those in most need, including ailing widows, and senior citizens, amongst others.

• Give a Future - Committed to uplifting the most unprivileged children. - Educational initiatives of scholarships, afternoon school, and extra-curricular experiences, aimed at facilitating intellectual growth over time.

• Diety’s Cows - Presenting social initiative of providing devoted care and support to Gau Mata or Mother Cow, lovingly called Diety’s Cows. - Regularly feed and take care of cows on the streets, while our new Animal Care Center will incrementally support our efforts, by providing a holistic approach for the better future of cows in Braj. 

• Make Vrindavan Green Again - Seeking to plant as many trees to maintain the glory of the name of Vrindavan (‘van’ in Hindi refers to forest). 

• Don’t Mess with Vrindavan - Our endeavor to keep Vrindavan Dham clean includes installing an effective garbage disposal and street cleaning system, to sustain the true beauty of Dham.

For the very first time in Braj, a unique, seminal holistic animal treatment and care center, offering comprehensive in-house medical treatment till complete recovery of street animals (including ailing cows/monkeys/ dogs/parrots/peacocks/swans amongst others), who although cannot speak the same language as humans, yet remain as vulnerable to pain, fear, hunger, and above all seek to be loved, just as we humans do. Devoted care at Animal Care Center Once loving in-house medical treatment till recovery is provided, we will subsequently seek to find a suitable habitat for our friends, for their holistic well-being. 

For instance, we will seek to match a family who can adopt an abandoned cow, or try and find a relatively shady forest for them to freely graze and rest. This sets us apart from others, where only initial street-side patch-up care is provided without further treatment. We are thrilled to offer this project to protect and nurture animals in Braj Dham. OTHER SOCIAL INITIATIVES 

• Sponsor-a-wedding campaign- sponsor the best day of a Brajwasi girl, by helping her dream day come alive. - Provide wedding day outfits & gifts for the couple. - Sponsor food & wedding arrangements. 

• Widow and elderly care campaign- To serve our elderly & widows in Braj. - Shelter widows by finding suitable loving families for them to be absorbed into the community. - Warm blankets are distributed in extreme winter.

RECENT ACHIEVEMENTS AT LOVE BRAJ In the recent COVID-19 pandemic time, Love Braj was provided an all-access pass by the government, as an acknowledgment of our commitment to serving the community by Providing grocery supplies.

• Nearly 14,600 grocery bags are supplied to those with the facility to cook. 

• Each bag contained a mix of staples & personal hygiene supplies for their safety during the lockdown period. Providing meals .

• Delivered > 200,000 hot cooked meals to those without the facility to cook. Feeding street animals.

• Love Braj remains committed to serving all of humanity and nature, feeding and serving nearly 400-500 animals like cows, monkeys, birds & other street animals, on a daily basis. Mother and infant initiative.

• We were also aware of the special needs & dietary requirements of newborn infants & mothers during the lockdown period. 

• Provided both basic grocery bags & special formulated packets promoting good health in newly nursing mothers.

 • Offered a mix of special ladoos (sweetmeat) containing a combination of high-energy nuts, ghee, and special ayurvedic herbs, and swapped rice for special oatmeal in grocery bags, to aid in well-being and promote milk production in newly nursing mothers. 

• Provided milk packs & clothes for infants. 

Other services

• Helped migrant workers on their journey home. 

• Feeding mangoes during hot summer months to bring smiles to Brajwasis. 

• Provided books, school stationery, and supplies to children.

• Supplying medicines to those in desperate need. 

Any Support you can offer will be more than welcome, we are struggling to run our LOVE BRAJ ANIMAL CARE we require funds to maintain and run the center.
